The development of high quality employer responsiveness across the learning and skills sector is an urgent priority and the direction of your organisation should be in relation to local and regional economic priorities and meeting workforce development needs.
All your strategic documents, strategic plan, investment and accommodation strategy, development plan and staff development plan should reflect the changing focus of your organisation. Employers should be viewed as strategic partners and engaged strategically in developing provision e.g. governors or external advisers can be used to guide on mission change or sector specific strategic objectives.
