Partnership models
There are many different forms of partnership. Research shows that they often break down because there is a lack of clarity and agreement by the different partners. So it is important to ask some basic questions such as:
- What type of partnership are we seeking?
- What do we bring?
- What do we seek?
- What can we achieve that we could not otherwise?
- Which partners ‘bring’ energy?
- Which partners ‘take’ energy?
- What do we need to do about it?
It can be useful to think about four types of partnership:
