Partnership and collaboration
Working with other organisations to deliver has many potential benefits. Making partnerships work, however, can be difficult as partner organisations often have different ways of working, different priorities and conflicting values. You need to understand the nature of successful partnership dynamics and operation and learn what causes partnerships to fail and how to overcome those potential obstacles. Partners’ have different skills and cultural differences and it is through this recognition that you can work effectively with partner organisations in offering employers a flexible approach to delivery.
Creating partnerships with other providers, either by working in collaboration with them or subcontracting services, can broaden what your organisation can offer employers.
